The Vixen of the Fire Sea

There was a time when you left like a fierce storm. A powerful hurricane that destroyed everything that had been built for both. On that gray sand beach my heart had been torn apart, the salt burning my lungs and suffocating me as I rocked back and forth on the shore. The night came in a short time, the tears came down and the strangers watched in the distance a little wolf whose face was falling off piece by piece.

It was not easy to rebuild myself and get away from that sad beach, with the broken shells, the scattered boards, and the decomposed marine creatures after having run aground in melancholy. It seemed like millennia until I returned to that place, when a beautiful ray of sunlight illuminated the darkness that had established his kingdom. Little by little, what had once been built on the shores of our souls took shape again, this time with more passion than that of a thousand beings of fire. The fire vixen and the wolf sat on the pier, their furry paws gracefully touching the calm waters, and together they watched an eternal sunset, until they completely forgot whether it was too early or too late, it just didn't matter, because their bodies remained hair with hair, skin with skin, soul with soul…

The wolf slowly closed his eyes, and without realizing it, the sun had set. Stunned, he looked for the warmth of his friend's soul, but he didn't find her by his side. The sea water had disappeared, only the pier and the grayish beach remained, which seemed more like a void, a deep nothingness in which he was afraid of losing himself. Desperate, he realized the wounds remained open from that first stormy night, because he feared that he would lose her again.

He tried to howl at her, but they were lost in the wind. With a deep sadness he sat down again on the dock. He waited for the sun to ever return, for the tide to rise, for the cold to dissipate and with all this, his vixen friend would come back…
