wolf's path
My name is Alexandros Wolf. Fortune-telling wolf, blistering lunatic, history-freak and wanderer. I was born among the mountains of the Cordillera, in the backbone of a continent that unites us. I come from a place where water is creation, earth is mother, air is word, and fire is spirit.
I am a historian at the National University of Colombia, where I discovered the stories of our past. These howls resonate to the present, from deep in the forest of oblivion. I travel the territories to collect something beyond the archives, that which connects us with everything: the memory that dreams in the stories told.
I write to face oblivion. I find creatures jumping between the frailejones of the wasteland, climbing the banks of rivers or crawling through the coffee trees of the mountain. Dialogue with ghosts lost in time; I ask their name and summon them back to our world.
New Horizons
Currently, I am studying a master’s degree in Creative Writing at the same university. I have received a call to continue this beautiful path of the word, developing the power of the written. I hope we learn to recognise our territory, to discover the magic and wonder of our immense culture. You, too, are from the mountain: it is time to remember.
